Privacy policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Shpitser (“Shpitser”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit shpitser.com, place an order, contact us or subscribe to our emails. It applies to this website only. Purchases made through Amazon, Walmart, eBay or any other marketplace are governed by that marketplace’s own privacy policy, and we receive only the limited order information the marketplace chooses to share with us.

By using this website you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Shpitser, 18 Bunker Lane, Palm Coast, FL 32137, United States. Questions about this Policy or about your personal information: [email protected].

2. Information we collect

Information you give us.

  • Order details: name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number.
  • Account details, if you create an account: email address and a password we store only in encrypted form.
  • Correspondence: messages you send us by email or through the contact form, including anything you choose to include in them.
  • Marketing preferences: the email address you give us when you subscribe, and whether you have unsubscribed.
  • Returns and warranty claims: order number, reason for return, and any photographs you send.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the site we and our service providers may record your IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time spent and similar technical data. This is collected through cookies and comparable technologies (see section 5).

Information we do not collect. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers. Card data is entered directly into our payment processors’ systems and is never held on our servers. We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government identifiers, precise geolocation, biometric data or health data, and we ask you not to send them to us.

3. How we use your information

  • To process, ship and, where necessary, refund your order.
  • To send transactional messages: order confirmation, shipping notice, tracking, return instructions.
  • To answer your questions and handle warranty and return requests.
  • To send marketing emails, only if you have opted in, and only until you opt out.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website, and to understand which pages and products people find useful.
  • To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents.
  • To comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Where the laws of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom apply to you, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (orders and support), our legitimate interests (site security, fraud prevention, service improvement, direct marketing to existing customers), your consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies), and compliance with legal obligations (tax and accounting records).

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We disclose it only to the following categories of recipients, and only as far as each of them needs it:

  • Payment processors — to authorise and settle your payment, and to handle chargebacks and refunds.
  • Shipping carriers and fulfilment partners — to deliver your parcel and provide tracking.
  • Hosting, email and analytics providers — to run the website, send messages and measure traffic.
  • Professional advisers — accountants, auditors and lawyers, bound by confidentiality.
  • Authorities — where we are required by law, court order or lawful request, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property or safety, or those of our customers or the public.
  • A successor — if the business or its assets are sold, merged or reorganised, customer data may transfer with it. We will require the recipient to honour this Policy.

Our service providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work — keeping your cart and your session, remembering that you are logged in, and protecting the checkout. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.

We also use analytics cookies to see how the site is used in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, but your cart may not survive between visits.

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for how a website must answer it, so we do not respond to it. We do honour the Global Privacy Control signal where it applies to us.

6. Marketing emails

We send marketing emails only to people who asked for them. Every such email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect promptly. Transactional messages about an order you placed are not marketing and will still be sent.

7. Your rights

All customers. You may ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, or to delete it. Write to [email protected] from the address associated with your order. We may ask for information to verify your identity, and we will not honour a request from someone we cannot verify.

California residents. Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion; to request correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do not knowingly collect or process the personal information of consumers under sixteen years of age. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law you may also request information about disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing purposes; we make no such disclosures.

EEA and UK residents. Where that law applies you may in addition object to processing based on legitimate interests, request restriction of processing, request portability of the data you provided to us, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. You may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

We answer verified requests within the time the applicable law allows, and we may decline a request where the law permits — for example where the data must be kept for tax or accounting purposes, or where a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

8. How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as required by United States tax and accounting rules, currently at least seven years from the end of the tax year in which the order was placed. Account data is kept while the account exists and for a reasonable period afterwards. Marketing subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a record of the unsubscribe itself so that we do not email you again. Correspondence is kept as long as needed to resolve the matter and to defend against any related claim.

9. International transfers

We operate from the United States and our service providers may store or process data in the United States and other countries. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. By placing an order from outside the United States you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

10. Security

The site is served over encrypted connections, payment data is handled by PCI-compliant processors, and access to customer records is limited to people who need it to do their job. No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of data that occurs despite reasonable safeguards, or for anything caused by your own device, network or credentials. Keep your password to yourself and tell us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

11. Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under thirteen years of age, and this site is not directed to children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.

12. Other websites

Our pages may link to sites we do not control, including marketplaces, carriers’ tracking pages and social networks. This Policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data. Read their policies before giving them information.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as our business, technology or the law changes. The current version is always on this page with the date of the last update at the top. Material changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the site after that constitutes acceptance. Please check back from time to time.
